Acetysal: Pain Relief & Fever Reduction (20 Tablets)

Acetysal is an over-the-counter (OTC) medication containing acetylsalicylic acid, also known as Aspirin. It is designed to alleviate inflammatory conditions, colds, and flu accompanied by high fever, as well as to relieve headaches, toothaches, and menstrual pains. With its active ingredient acetylsalicylic acid, Acetysal provides relief from pain, swelling, redness, and increased local temperature associated with various ailments, including myalgias, musculoskeletal and joint pain. It also serves to prevent thrombosis and embolism post-cardiovascular operations or in unstable angina pectoris.

Usage:

• For Adults:
  • Pain and fever relief: Take 1 to 4 tablets (500 mg each) every 4 to 6 hours, with a maximum daily dose of 3 g, for a short period (1 to 3-4 days).
  • For rheumatic diseases, take 1-2 tablets 3 to 4 times daily under medical supervision.
  • For thrombotic conditions and heart attack prevention, take 3/4 tablet once daily during or after a meal. It is advisable to dissolve the tablet in a small amount of water to reduce stomach irritation.

For Children over 12 years:

• Administer 1/2 to 1 tablet as needed, but no more than two to three times a day, for a maximum of 2 to 3 days.
  
   

Important Information:

Consult your doctor before using Acetysal:

• For more than a few days at a time.
• If you have a history of stomach ulcers or other stomach problems.
• If you are taking other medications, including blood thinners.
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
