1. What is Angal Spray and what is it used for?

Angal Spray is a topical drug for the oral cavity and pharynx.

It has an antiseptic effect and a local analgesic effect.

Angal Spray is recommended for:

Treatment of symptoms of redness, a sore throat, pharynx and oral cavity issues, accompanied by irritation such as inflammation of the gums, oral mucous membranes and aphtha;

In cases of bacterial infection accompanied by high fever, additional treatment is needed;

Angal Spray does not contain sugar, which makes it suitable for diabetics.

2. What you need to know before using Angal Spray

Do not use Angal Spray:

If you are allergic to chlorhexidine hydrochloride or lidocaine hydrochloride or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6);

Children under 6 years of age.

Warnings and precautions

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Angal Spray.

Angal Spray should not be used for long periods of time with or without interruptions. Use should be limited to the necessary attainment of pain relief and irritation;

In case of overdose (more than 20 tablets per day) there is a slight risk of loss of control of the swallowing reflex;

Angal Spray contains levomenthol: be careful when used in children with a history of seizures.

Angal Spray contains alcohol (44.4% (v / v) ethanol) ie more than 180 mg for 5 sprays equivalent to 4.5 ml beer or 2 ml wine for 5 sprays. This can harm patients suffering from alcoholism. 3. How to use Angal?

Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

This medicine should not be used for extended periods of time. Consult your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or even get worse after 3-4 days.

Point the applicator to the pharynx and press the spray pump.

The recommended dose is:

Adults and children over 12 years of age: 3 to 5 sprays, 6 to 10 times a day.

Children over 6 years old: 2 to 3 sprays, 3 to 5 times a day.

Do not use this medicine in children under the age of 6 years.

If you use more than the required dose of Angal Spray

The risk of overdosing is very small when used correctly.

Symptoms of overdose are: fatigue, tinnitus, difficulty in breathing, heart rhythm disturbances, impaired swallowing control.

If you forget to use Angal

Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

If you stopped using Angal

No special measures are required.

4. Possible side effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.

Very rare: allergic reactions to the skin and mucous membranes;

Exceptionally, changes in taste, burning sensation in the tongue or severe allergic reactions (anaphylactic reactions) may occur;

Prolonged and continuous use can cause brown tooth coloration, which is transient and reversible.

How to Store Angal

Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Store below 25 ° C.

Do not use Angal Spray after the expiry date which is stated on the carton / label after EXP. The first two symbols indicate the month, the next two or four characters-year. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. Angal Spray can be used up to 3 months after the first opening.

Do not dispose of medicines in the sewage system or in the household waste container.

What does Angal contain?

The active ingredients are: chlorhexidine digluconate 2 mg / ml and lidocaine hydrochloride 0.5 mg / ml.

The other ingredients are: ethanol, glycerol, anhydrous citric acid, levomenthol, cinnol, saccharin sodium, purified water.
