CALGEL gel 10g, calgel teething gel
• Calgel is indicated for use in inflammatory conditions during teething. Calgel works quickly, reducing the pain of teething and easing the irritation of the gums of the baby. It also has slight antiseptic properties.
Composition:
1 gram of gel for use in the gums contains 3.3 mg of lidocaine hydrochloride and 1 mg of cetylpyridinium chloride.
Contraindicated in: Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients, including chamomile.
Dosage: Calgel can be used in infants above 3 months of age. The product is intended for topical application to the sore area. A small amount of gel (7.5 mm), squeezed at the tip of a clean finger and then gently rubbed on the gums in areas of teething. This treatment can, if necessary, be repeated every 20 minutes for up to 6 times a day.
