Doppelherz active Selenium contains a combination of antioxidants that synergistically act to protect cells from free radicals, to support the function of the immune system and to reduce tiredness.

Selenium is a trace element which is involved in several vital processes: production of active thyroid hormones, inflammation, immunity and function of the male reproductive system all depend on a proper supply of selenium.

Beta-carotene is an antioxidant that is able to neutralize free radicals. This action is particularly helpful in the skin, where UV rays from the sunlight generate free radicals. Beta-carotene is also known as Provitamin A since it can be converted into vitamin A when the organism requires it.

Vitamin A from the diet or obtained from Beta-carotene is important for vision in the dark, blood formation and function of the immune system.

Vitamin C is an intracellular antioxidant that is known to boost the immune system. Vitamin C additionally contributes to reduce tiredness and fatigue. It associates with Vitamin E to form an antioxidant system that efficiently neutralizes free radicals.

Consumption recommendation:

Take 1 tablet daily with meals and enough liquid. Do not chew.
