Efferalgan: Fast Relief for Pain & Fever (16 Effervescent Tablets)

Efferalgan is an over-the-counter medication containing 500mg Paracetamol per effervescent tablet for the relief of:

• Mild to Moderate Pain: Headaches, flu-like symptoms, toothaches, menstrual cramps, muscle aches
• Fever

How Does Efferalgan Work?

Paracetamol works by blocking pain signals and regulating the body's temperature control center to reduce fever.

Important Information:

• Efferalgan is suitable for adults and children over 4 years old (weight-based dosing).
• Consult your doctor before using Efferalgan if you have certain medical conditions or are taking other medications.

Follow the recommended dosage based on weight:

• Children (weight-dependent): Refer to dosage chart for half or whole tablets every 4-6 hours, not exceeding the maximum daily dose.
• Adults and children over 50kg: 1-2 tablets per dose, every 4-6 hours, not exceeding 8 tablets daily.

Do not exceed the recommended dosage or duration:

• Maximum 5 days for pain relief
• Maximum 3 days for fever reduction
• If symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor.

Dosage Chart:

• Child's Body Weight (kg) - Age (approx.) - Single Dose - Maximum Daily Dose
  • 14-20 kg (4-7 years) - Half tablet (250mg) - 2 tablets (1000mg)
  • 20-27 kg (7-10 years) - Half tablet (250mg) - 3 tablets (1500mg)
  • 27-40 kg (10-11 years) - 1 tablet (500mg) - 4 tablets (2000mg)
  • 40-50 kg (11-12 years) - 1 tablet (500mg) - 6 tablets (3000mg)
  • Over 50 kg (Over 12 years) - 1-2 tablets (500mg-1000mg) - 8 tablets (4000mg)
