Flavamed syrup for children is a trusted solution designed to alleviate wet cough by liquefying bronchial secretions and promoting their easy expulsion through coughing. Formulated with ambroxol hydrochloride, it effectively targets acute or chronic lung and bronchial diseases, providing relief for children aged 2 years and above, adolescents, and adults.

Purpose:

• Flavamed syrup for children works to:

Active Ingredient:

• Each 5 ml of syrup contains:
• Ambroxol Hydrochloride: 15 mg

Composition:

• Apart from the active ingredient, Flavamed syrup for children contains:
  • Sorbitol, liquid (non-crystallizing) (E 420)
  • Benzoic acid (E 210)
  • Glycerol 85 percent
  • Hydroxyethyl cellulose
  • Raspberry flavor
  • Purified water

Usage:

• Children (2-5 years): Take 1/2 scoop (2.5 ml) of oral solution 3 times a day (equivalent to 3 times 7.5 mg ambroxol hydrochloride = 22.5 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day).
• Children (6-12 years): Take 1 scoop (5 ml) of oral solution 2-3 times a day (equivalent to 2-3 times 15 mg ambroxol hydrochloride = 30-45 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day).
• Adolescents (over 12 years) and adults: During the first 2-3 days, take 2 measuring spoons (10 ml) of oral solution 3 times a day (equivalent to 3 times 30 mg ambroxol hydrochloride = 90 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day). Then, take 2 measuring spoons (10 ml) of oral solution 2 times a day (equivalent to 2 times 30 mg ambroxol hydrochloride = 60 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day).

Note:

• In adults, the dose can be increased to 4 measuring spoons (20 ml) of oral solution 2 times a day (equivalent to 2 times 60 mg ambroxol hydrochloride = 120 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day).

Application Method:

• For oral use. Take Flavamed for children after meals using the provided measuring spoon.
