How Flavamed Forte Works:

• Loosens Mucus: Ambroxol helps thin and loosen mucus, making it easier to cough up and clear congestion.

Suitable For:

• Adults and children over 2 years old experiencing productive coughs (coughs with mucus) associated with colds or chest infections.

Important Information:

• Over-the-Counter Medication: Consult a doctor for diagnosis and appropriate treatment plan, especially for persistent cough.
• Dosage: (Use the provided measuring spoon)
  • Children 2-5 years: 1/4 measuring spoon (1.25ml), 3 times a day (22.5mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day)
  • Children 6-12 years: 1/2 measuring spoon (2.5ml), 2-3 times a day (30-45mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day)
  • Adolescents over 12 & Adults:

First 2-3 days: 1 measuring spoon (5ml), 3 times a day (90mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day)

Thereafter: 1 measuring spoon (5ml), 2 times a day (60mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day)

• Maximum dosage: 2 measuring spoons (10ml), 2 times a day (consult doctor for increased dosage)
• Do not use for more than 4-5 days without consulting a doctor.
• Take after meals.
