What is Ketonal?

Ketonal is an over-the-counter pain reliever containing ketoprofen, a type of NSAID. NSAIDs help reduce pain, inflammation, and fever.

 

What does Ketonal treat?

Ketonal is used for the short-term treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever associated with various conditions, including:

  • Cold and flu symptoms (fever, headache)
  • Headaches
  • Toothaches
  • Pain after dental surgery
  • Muscle pain
  • Joint pain
  • Back pain
  • Mild arthritis pain
  • Menstrual pain

How to Use Ketonal:

  • Adults (18 and over): Take 1 capsule twice daily (morning and evening) with a maximum daily dose of 100mg.
  • Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
  • Take the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time.
  • Consult your doctor if symptoms worsen or persist beyond 3 days (fever) or 10 days (pain).

Important Information:

  • Ketonal is not suitable for children or adolescents under 18.
  • Consult your doctor before using Ketonal if you have certain medical conditions or are taking other medications.

I have been suffering from period pains for several years. When I take paracetamol or other pills during my period, I immediately vomit, I can take more than 8 and it didn't help me.
When I discovered these pills.... it was great, I don't vomit and finally something works for my pain. I highly recommend it if someone is struggling with very painful periods and with pain in the leg.

I was on a work trip in Germany and suddenly got mind blowing strong infection around an out-coming wisdoms-tooth. Doctors gave me 600 mg of Ibuprofen, which did absolutely nothing for me, but one serving of Ketonal (50mg Ketoprofen) almost relieved it completely! Truly an amazing product!
