How Does Nurofen Junior Work?

Nurofen Junior contains Ibuprofen, which reduces inflammation and pain signals, providing relief for your child.

Important Information:

• Nurofen Junior is suitable for children aged 7-12 years (20-40kg).
• Consult your doctor before using Nurofen Junior, especially if your child has any underlying medical conditions or is taking other medications.
• Nurofen Junior uses a weight-based dosage. See the dosage chart below to determine the correct amount for your child.

Dosage:

Child's Body Weight (kg) - Age (years) - Single Dose - Maximum Daily Dose

• 20-29 kg (7-9 years) - 200mg (2 capsules) - 600mg (6 capsules)
• 30-40 kg (10-12 years) - 300mg (3 capsules) - 900mg (9 capsules)
• Individual doses should be administered approximately every 6-8 hours (or a minimum of 6 hours between each dose) as needed.
