What it's for: Otipax Ear Drops are a non-prescription medication used for the temporary relief of ear pain caused by:
  • Acute non-perforated inflammation of the middle ear (otitis media)
  • Ear pain caused by pressure changes (otitis barotrauma)
  • Ear pain associated with the flu (viral otitis)
How to Use:
  • Adults and children over 1 year old: Instill 2-3 drops into the affected ear 2-3 times daily.
  • Do not use for more than 10 days.
  • Consult a healthcare professional if symptoms worsen or persist.
How it Works:
  • Phenazone: Relieves pain and inflammation by reducing the production of prostaglandins, which are involved in the pain process.
  • Lidocaine Hydrochloride: Numbs the ear canal to provide immediate pain relief.
Important Information:
  • Do not use Otipax Ear Drops if you have a perforated eardrum, are allergic to any of the ingredients, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
