• TANTUM VERDE. Eucalyptus lozenges Tantum Verde alleviate bothersome symptoms associated with colds and flu. They soothe redness, pain and swelling in the mouth and throat. The lozenges have antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effects.
Composition:
Active ingredient: benzydamine hydrochloride (Benzydamini hydrochloride).
Excipients: isomalt, eucalyptus oil, citric acid monohydrate, potassium acesulfame, levomenthol, quinoline yellow (E 104), indigo carmine (E132).
Action:
Tantum Verde is a drug which has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and local anesthetic and antiseptic properties. Benzydamine hydrochloride accumulates in diseased tissues and inhibits the process of changes in the blood vessels that are responsible for leukocytes. In addition, it exhibits decongestant properties. Thanks to the topical use of the drug minimal amounts of the active ingredient enters the systemic circulation, thereby reducing the possibility of adverse side effects.

Usage:
Used to treat bacterial and viral infections of the respiratory tract and inflammation of the larynx and mucous membranes.
Dosage:
Adults and children over 6 years of age - 1 tablet x 3 times a day, unless your doctor prescribes otherwise. It must not be taken for more than 7 days. Children under 6 years of age should not take this product.
Contraindications:
The drug is not indicated for patients with phenylketonuria, because it contains acesulfame potassium, a source of phenylalanine. In pregnancy and during breastfeeding the lozenges should be taken under medical supervision.
