What is Trachisan and what it is used

Lozenges , molded .

Trachisan  used for topical treatment of inflammations and infections of the mouth and throat , and inflammation of the mouth and gums , periodontitis , glossitis , tonsillitis, pharyngitis, difficulty swallowing. For the prevention of infections before and after surgery in the oral cavity and throat ( tooth extraction , surgery of the gums, tonsillectomy ) .

Inflammation in the oral cavity may be caused by pathogenic factors other . The symptoms are redness and hypersensitivity of the mucous membranes, accompanied by a burning sensation in the mouth , difficulty swallowing , sore throat and hoarseness .

Combination of active substances contained in the tablets Trachisan  has antibacterial, antiseptic and analgesic action , which significantly improves the complaints.

Trahizan tablets do not contain sugar , so no risk for the development of caries.


 Before using Trachisan 

Do not use Trachisan  :

if you are allergic (hypersensitive ) to the active substances or any of the other ingredients of Trachisan  ;

with extensive ulceration of the oral mucosa ;

in large fresh wounds in the oral cavity ;

children under 6 years of age.

Use with caution Trachisan 

In the case of fructose intolerance , the treatment is performed only after consulting a doctor .


Taking other medicines

So far there are no known side effects as manifestations of drug interactions.

Pregnancy and lactation

Trachisan  lozenges are supposed to be safe and unlikely to affect the ability to drive and use machines.


Important information about some of the ingredients of Trachisan 

This medicinal product contains sorbitol. When taken according to the dosage recommendations each dose provide up to 0,69 g sorbitol, corresponding to 0,057 bakery units. The medicinal product is suitable for diabetics.

Unsuitable in hereditary fructose intolerance . May cause gastrointestinal irritation and diarrhea.

Due to the decrease of sensitivity in the nasopharynx is possible inadvertent discharge of contents of the oral cavity in the airways which requires caution in use in patients under 12 years of age.


Warning for athletes : When using Trachisan  can test positive for doping control.


How to take Trachisan 

Always take Trachisan  as you are prescribed by your doctor.

dosage:

In adults: one tablet suck at intervals of two hours , up to 8 times a day ;

Children over 6 years : up to 6 times a day.

With regular use of the product complaints usually disappear after a few days.


Duration of treatment :

To ensure the continued success of the treatment is considered Trachisan  2-3 days , even after the disappearance of symptoms . In the absence of significant improvement after 10 days' use , a consultation with a doctor.

Trachisan  should not be used more than 6 weeks without consulting a doctor.

 Possible side effects

Like any medicine Trachisan  can cause side effects , although not everybody gets them.

In rare cases, it may be observed allergic reactions to tyrothricin .

Trachisan  tablets are generally well tolerated , but the product can reduce the sense of taste and numbness of the tongue, which normally disappear completely within one hour .

Yellow to brownish discoloration of teeth , fillings , dentures and language that appears in rare cases of prolonged use may be removed by carefully maintaining oral hygiene. Colouring, but also resolves spontaneously after stopping use of the product .

 How to store Trachisan 

Keep out of reach of children!

Store in a dry place at a temperature below 25 ° C.
