Vacontil – Fast Relief for Acute & Chronic Diarrhea (10 Capsules)

Vacontil provides quick and effective relief from both acute and chronic diarrhea. This over-the-counter medication works by hardening stools and reducing the frequency of bowel movements, helping to restore normal digestion.

Vacontil is part of the antidiarrheal and intestinal antiseptic drug group, making it suitable for various types of diarrhea, including cases following intestinal surgery.

Composition (Per Capsule):

• Active Ingredient: Loperamide Hydrochloride – 2 mg
• Other Ingredients: Lactose, corn starch, talc, magnesium stearate, sunset yellow (E110), titanium dioxide (E171), patent blue No. 1 (E131), erythrosine (E127), indigo carmine (E132), and gelatin

Usage Instructions:

For Adults and Children Over 6 Years:

• Acute Diarrhea:

  • Adults: Start with 2 capsules (4 mg), followed by 1 capsule (2 mg) after each loose stool
  • Children (6+): Start with 1 capsule (2 mg), followed by 1 capsule after each loose stool

• Chronic Diarrhea:

  • Adults: Start with 2 capsules (4 mg) daily, adjusted to maintain 1-2 formed stools per day (up to a maximum of 8 capsules per day)
  • Children (6+): Start with 1 capsule (2 mg) daily, adjusted based on body weight (maximum of 8 capsules per day or 3 capsules per 20 kg)

Important Notes:

• Do not exceed 8 capsules (16 mg) per day for adults.
• Discontinue use and consult a doctor if symptoms persist after 48 hours or if episodes recur for over two weeks.

Precautions:

Do not use Vacontil if:

• You are allergic to loperamide hydrochloride or any other ingredients listed
• You have blood in your stools or a high fever
